While these actress may never be nominated for Oscars, their performances still are as captivating and HAUNTING as any in Tinseltown!

My queen of scream is Liv Tyler from The Strangers.

Hear me out! I know its not a classic, but i remember how i felt watching that for the first time when i was a bit younger, in the house all by myself. Creepy as hell! :scat:

Well, I just watched the Evil Dead remake the other night and I remember thinking to myself at the time what an excellent performance Jane Levy put in for 'Mia' in that movie.

Man, did Rami and Campbell put that girl through her paces? IMO one of the best horror performances of recent times :thumbs:

Personally, I would have to go with Jamie Lee Curtis cause that was one of the first horror movies I saw. I was petrified of that Myers' mask until I got my own for Halloween.


But another part of me is wondering if anyone on that list was as iconic as Linda Blair. The Exorcist, so far, is the only movie both my parents admit they were scared. They generally have no interest in horror movies so nothing really frightens them cause they're not into it.
