Another slightly more serious question. Is this community kinda hostile towards new members / slash collectors or do we just not have a high tolerance for newbie questions?
I think most are very helpful here, even if sometimes they joke 'inappropriately'.
There was such a problem during a relative peak of physical media on my forum in 2007-2012, with many regular members being irritated by same questions that were answered multiple times before, so we set up a special 'newbie' section at the top of the forum with a FAQ, and threads for anyone to ask any questions, however simple or stupid they might seem.

Extremely random question of the day time.

Ok so my favourite thing to do on a Friday night is have a movie night. Under ideal circumstances it starts with a good comedy, bourbon and some nice snacks and a decent frozen pizza. Maybe even like a nice IPA to go with the pizza. Then I usually like to transition to a good action movie and then maybe a drama before putting on something I can fall asleep to.

Anyone else got a good Friday ritual?
So, a comedy, then an action movie, then a drama, and after another one? That's four! No way have I ever been able to sit through more than 2 films at a time, and that's when I was a teenager, sneaking for a second film in a multiplex. And even then I found the experience muddled, one movie overlaying or overshadowing the other. Plus I usually liked to drive around afterwards, listening to its soundtrack, if it had a good one.

Anyway, I try to watch one every day, but half the time it's a TV series episode.
Started one of those Letterboxd accounts, but they don't have TV shows, very disappointing.

Looking at that Iron Man figure made me wonder what, if any, collectibles my fellow ninja's might have.

I've mentioned before my extensive JAWS collection, which was featured in an issue of Horrorhound magazine! An excellent publication to be sure, but I also have a Necco B&W Wolfman with exchangable Larry Talbot head! And yes....it's still sealed. lol.

Also have some nice collectible screenplays for House of Frankenstein and Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman. Not to mention my extensive, and I do mean extensive, monster magazine collection, to include the run of Marvel/Curtis Planet of the Apes comic mags of the 70's.
The only other things I collect is signed boxing memorabilia. I used to box myself so got to meet a few boxers to get the signatures myself.
Unfortunately my 2 favourite boxers, I didn't get myself but glad to have found what I have. The 2 are Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammed Ali

I mean on a Friday night this is almost always comfort movies for me, sometimes the occasional new movie but usually surrounded by movies I know to death anyway.

Oh man, I used to hate Ali!!! But now that I'm older and I've seen the story of his life, and the amazing impact he's had on those less fortunate, I've decided I was a moron. He is literally THE GREATEST.

I just finished Locke and Key. It started out so well but season 3 declined hard and the writing was just awful with characters being really stupid.
LOL. This happened with Walking Dead for a couple of seasons. I was wondering if I was watching Days of Our Lives with zombies by mistake.

Thankfully, that errant ship got righted!!!

Then you shouldn't watch Fear the Walking Dead, that got destroyed in comparison after season 3 by new wussy showrunners, extremely stupid writing, and the tedious, annoying Morgan.
Now they brought back Madison, the best character, besides Maggie, but I'm afraid they'll just ruin her too, plus she alone cannot save that mess.

People writing for a show they have no concept of the concept they're writing for are not unlike those who choose the dumbest, most stupidly idiotic art for steelbooks. Sadly, as is clear, these people keep their jobs. Thank God for Manta. Thank God for George Romero.

I'll be settling in at some point tonight watching Jurassic Park: Dominion. Picked it up in steel at Walmart the other day.

I've heard some pretty good reviews for this. I've also heard some not so positive reviews.

My question is this:

Do I watch the theatrical version? or do I just cut to the chase and watch the extended version first?

Yeah, I fully understand how people could have disliked him at the time especially with how arrogant he was but then he did have the skill to back it up but it can still make for an unlikeable character.
I think a lot of great boxers aren't fully appreciated during their time and it is later down the line when the bad traits have faded a bit from memory and you can just appreciate what they did. Especially with boxing has you need a level of arrogance as you can't go into the ring thinking you will lose.
