Most films from the drawing room comedies of the 1930s to the hippy influences on for example the Star Trek TV series have aged terribly (although mini skirts never age) but I still enjoy and appreciate them as snapshots of another more glamorous age and as period pieces.
Thrillers on the other hand never age and anything made by Hitchcock, for example, from BLACKMAIL in 1929 onwards is as entertaining today as it was when it was made.
Considering the relationships between the West and China, Russia and N. Korea I'd say "Speak for yourself" regarding fears about nuclear war.
