Does anybody else think that the film itself hasn't dated well at all? (I know, I know, it's set in the 80's!!) But I watched this again recently and was surprised at how cheap it all felt. Like a bad TV movie or something!

Yeah it must be the type of lens they used. It's got quite a waxy almost animated look to it.

I already own the Korean digipack, so here's hoping the artwork is decent.

No way. I mean, I think it was shot to look like it was made in the 80's. But it doesn't feel cheap at all to me. A classic all the way!

Can't say I'm a fan of that slipcover, it's not even Christian Bale's hand lol. So I sure hope the steelbook doesn't go with that. I prefer they go with some of the film's original promotional art, or at least images from the actual movie.

:hilarious: How would you even know that. It's by far the slickest design I have seen for this film thus far.

How's the transfer on this release? I wanted to get the lenticular version but it sold out, so now I'm torn between this slip and the steel.
Wow. I looked at that Lenti, and I have to say, that art is not representative of the movie at all. It's like one of those cover arts that is selling you a different movie than what's inside. It's not a horror movie. It's an arch black comedy on the 'Me' Generation's obsession with status and wealth in the '80s!
