I ordered this yesterday. But I might change my mind. 35 quid is very expensive for an amaray in a nice box. Couldn't they have made it a steelbook.

If you want a steel, there's a really gorgeous old blu ray steelbook that's glossed and bossed.
Very pretty.

Oh wow, and since it's a UK CE, with the 'dumb thick' amarays, I'll be able to stick an old steelbook in it!

Yeah, might pick this up eventually (if funds allow it) and replace the amaray with the steelbook.

Absolutely terrible. Avoid avoid. I honestly wish I hadn't bothered although I can't seem to see a regular UK amaray.

Slip feels cheap, printed on age logos, no jcard so all the info is printed on the back. What some spot gloss on the sunglasses too much?

After opening that gorgeous Atomic Blonde yesterday this feels like a huge let down.

Absolutely not worth £35 quid. It's like not as bad as the slip ET came with last year. But it's bad.

@JinxyKatte I'm a bit torn whether to keep my order of this as it will cost the same to order the standard 4K version from the States. Just had a few quick questions, is it a rigid slip box as originally advertised? Also what does the book contain, is it production notes or just photos? Thanks :)

Yeah it's rigid. The book is like Ron's diary's with notes and things. If it's gonna cost you the same to import a standard amaray I'd just get this one. Maybe I am being overly harsh on it. But I had opened the Atomic Blonde set the day before and maybe that made me overly judge it.

It's an OK set but like only ok.

Thanks for answering so quickly. I think I will keep it as there is no cheaper alternative. Thank you for the updated pictures as well.

I actually don't mind the printed back... because I 'grew up' as a collector when we had those on freaking Metalpaks and steelbooks, plus if the box back was 'clean', as we used to say, it'd probably be just plain yellow with one simple logo of a network channel or something, while here we get 4 photos of the cast, and a handy list of special features, that I'd otherwise bend and stuff somewhere, or throw out.
There.
