Yeah you read that right. All you BF:BC fanatics get ready.:) According to IGN.com it will be release sometime in the 2010 calender year. Now all you have to do is wait.

Electronic Arts, while on its Q3 2009 financial earnings conference call, today announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will release sometime in the 2010 calendar year.

The original Battlefield: Bad Company released in mid-2008 to solid reviews and was the first game to use DICE's Frostbite engine.

Well I for once used :gamestop: this time for access to rush, but no worries to our :amazon: folks as I can invite you into the game mode.

I won't be able to take advantage of it a second time. I've tried purchasing two of the same games in the past to see if they'd send me another credit code but they've never done it. I will sometimes buy a game for me and then buy another one and send it to my brother. I'm trying to think of a way to get a second game credit.

I don't know...maybe someone on here could help us get the credit with them actually getting to keep the game credit, so at least someone can get it.

Could give the winner an amazon gift card for the game, so he gets the credit and the game..
 
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 getting 2 map packs at launch, more planned

Two massive, all-new multiplayer maps will be unlocked when Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is released on March 2 in North America. The map packs include Laguna Alta playable in Conquest mode and Nelson Bay playable in Rush mode – meaning you’ll have a total of 10 multiplayer maps available at launch.

But, that’s not all. Later in March DICE plans to release another free map pack. The pack includes the Arica Harbor map in Conquest mode and Laguna Presa map in Rush mode. All you’ll have to do is input a VIP code that is found in the retail box copy of the game.

Dice further plans to extend the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer experience. The game will be available on March 2 in North America and March 4 in Europe for the PlayStation 3.
