Wow! Literally just caught up with the last 9 pages of this thread.

Sorry to hear what happened. That lenti does look great though. Might even attempt to get one myself. Would go well with the HMV mondo steel

I didn't manage to get one on the Zeta site as I never even saw any available. So if I read all of this correctly, there are 500 damaged steelbooks, so the 500 that have placed an order with Zeta when it was sold out, what does that mean? They will get a full refund, or a refund for the steel? Their copy is not secure because the steelbook was damaged?

No, initially there should have been 500 copies of each edition, but 400 steelbooks arrived damaged, so hdzeta decreased the print run to 300 each and is selling the remaining slips without the steelbook and discs

They didn't take 500 pre-orders

Got ya, wasn't following this fiasco with damaged steelbooks. When I didnt get a copy I thought that was it, what's the point of reading all this:meh: Now there appears to be 400 empty slips floating around. Perfect opportunity for the Mondo and Zeta slip.

Might as well remove the "4K UHD" in front of the description for the single lenti.People might actually think they're getting a more expensive slip because its an empty UHD lenti lol.

Interesting that the 4k edition cost $77 whereas the slip costs only $31. Not surprising that the movie and steel costs an extra $46 though.

Honestly, empty slip (when WWA is concerned) would benefit me more than paying over double with the WWA steel..

I wonder if companies are allowed to just sell the slip with no movie. I don't know any of the rules that goes into making these editions.

Empty cases... the future of WWA editions IMO. I asked Nova why they couldn't do this about 2 years ago and they said licensing issues, not sure if studios have now changed their minds or there are different rules for HDZ, but I welcome it.
