Slightly different approach, getting ready for box preparation so can be sent quickly on receipt.

Finally some shipping, hopefully will get more soon.

From past experience it is probable there will be Customs charges guestimated at £2.00 per item (that's Customs not postage) and they will be added into the postage charge so hopefully just the one invoice. So that's getting on for an extra £400 which I need funding for and that's why it's added to the postage. (These are based on the Jack Reacher Blufans GB however this GB is about 4 times the size so there may be Duty as well as VAT.)

Minimum is 2nd Class Signed For, although let me know if you want Special Delivery due to the value of the items, limit on compensation for Signed For is £50. I know we are not talking very much here but nonetheless there are rules as for any GB.

THE RULES:

This bit is very important. Due to the sheer volume and the relatively small amount involved I am relying on everyone to pay their invoices promptly and within 48 hours latest please. ANY NON PAYERS WILL BE ADVISED TO bluraysteel IMMEDIATELY, NO REMINDERS, AND WILL GO ON MY PERSONAL BLACKLIST. If there is going to be a problem or you are going to be away (I do realise that school holidays are on us once more), please let me know by posting in the thread NOW and I will invoice separately, do not pm me. I will be staggering invoices over a period of days once I am aware how much these weigh and their size.

Can everyone in my Hub please ensure that their Paypal addresses are correct and up to date. If there is no address then there is nowhere I can send it, your payment will just be returned. Simples. If it's coming from your Wife/Girlfriend/Husband/Boyfriend/Granny's account (ie not you) then the package will be addressed to them not you. That's Paypal's rules not mine.

Finally depending on numbers size weight etc it is likely I will have to order some more boxes which may take a few days to arrive. If anyone has any suggestion for stockists could they post or PM me. Thanks.

I appreciate this is a huge job, but the only reason I went for 2nd class recorded was down to the fact that it had been six months, I thought what's one one more day for delivery. Had it been made clear that your order was going to be shipped from the hub based on delivery selected I can guarantee you in would have paid for SD. I apologise if I missed that announcement at time.

I'm sorry to sound ungrateful, as I know this is a huge operation, but I really don't believe it was fair for 2nd class orders to be sent at random.

I personally think you have opened yourself up to ridicule, favourites, friends, long standing members getting preferential treatment. I know this may well not be the case and it was done for ease, but that still leaves me empty handed. Coupled with all the QC issues waiting is making me a bit anxious. To me, it would have made much more sense to send the items based on date ordered or even just those that paid for the SB and shipping within the specified time.

In short, I'm asking when mine has / will be shipped. The only reason I'm bothered about this is the fact that so many are badly damaged.

I must admit, i would of chose first class and not second class if i had known they were being sent out in order of what postage you pay. for a few extra pence i could of had it a couple of weeks ago. I think ill go first class in the future. Not having a moan just an observation.

I only received the exact number of stickers as requested, no spares whatsoever. Notebooks were short and Kevin arranged to get me more but there might still be a few more to come.

To be fair the list I originally worked from is that in the main thread and yes it might look like favours etc have been done. In fact some of the people I know best on the Forum haven't had theirs yet. In truth the timing of this was pi$$ poor from my point of view but then we all expected it to have been over months ago and for that the blame lies firmly with Blufans.

To be honest I don't know whether I can be bothered to offer to help Hub these any more for the hassle involved and lack of gratitude received. There I've said it. You cannot please everyone all the time I know, but I'll get yours out today just to please you.

Your doing a better job than i could of done and i do appreciate your time and effort, its been a bit of a nightmare this one and i just wanted to say thank you, i know its not your fault that these havent been already shipped and your doing your best. I hope you can and will do uk hubs in the future, i would rather have to wait than not get it at all.

Whats with the comments... Everyone needs a holiday. Its just bad timing not surfury fault. Thanks for the being the HUB for us to receive this "EXCLUSIVE Blu fans Edition...." Very hard to find at cost price and not evil ebay prices.

For this rare item. It may not be ideal but I don't mind waiting a bit longer.

Tbh I think you've been handed a poisoned chalice with this as BF aren't exactly putting peoples minds at ease regarding damage.

I appreciate you may not want any criticism in the midst of all this, but it really was intended to be constructive.

It may have been obvious to some that SD orders would go first, then 1st RD, then 2nd RD. If all the copies arrived in one go it probably wouldn't have been an issue, but surely this is an eye opener for future GB's on this forum?

S'okay, sorry if I was sounding a little harsh myself; certainly wasn't directed at you personally as we have dealt many times before (just not here, ahem - remember HD DVD's ). The problem also is the 2nd Class and that's not meant disrespectfully to anyone concerned. I just had a list which could have been in order of request but in fact as you can tell from the spreads is almost alphabetical. Leaves me between a rock and a hard space.

I expect it will serve as a pointer though for future GB's, as 187 is a heck of a lot of Steels to plough through especially when you have to open each padded envelope.
