I can't believe there isn't a thread in here strictly for Beer. Well now there is.

So I'm going to Phoenix and this store is about 3 miles from the house I am renting. I need some recommendations of beer they sell. I'm looking for Hoppy beers please. I've had a few of them they sell but not allot. HELP ME OUT!

kind of beer related, I´ve gotten a new grill/smoker, my first lit was gonne be a pork collar marinated overnight in a beer called Roken by a local brewery called Brekeriet, it was very smokey when I drank it, but sadly I had only bought one bottle, I was sure that I had one laying around, but noo

so I went through my inventory and came up with a decadent alternative, the meat is now marinating in a Bourbon County Brand Stout.
then I think will just cover it with some ground black pepper and sea salt and let slow cook on indirect heat

I would really loved to have gotten a bigger model, seems like landmann scanidinavia aren´t offering them, maybe mail will be sent, I could always have one more

this was from a wisconsin friend, even down here in FL ill get to drink as much new glarus as i want

these were one trade. i finally got my hands on a wanderer!! been my top want for awhile now. and there is some other good beer as well that came with it i guess

gonna be a goooood weekend im thinking

Yah, I'd like to drink it soon cause I had sitr with peaches right after it came out and loved it, but heard from others who had it recently that it had already faded some. Could be bottle variations too.

I have not had nelson before, but opened it Friday and thought it was phenomenal! Reminder me of Susan by HF

Tons of good stuff there. You even picked up one of my top wants, ISO:FT. I went to a tasting and missed out on it by about 15 minutes. I think you'll really like the Fantastic Voyage. Nice to see that you are still getting some NG.

I've yet to find another IPA that uses rye as well as Alpine does in Nelson. At KBS 2012 release day I tried a homebrew copy of Nelson that used a bunch more citra, so it was basically Nelson with a shitload of mandarin orange. Damn that was nice.

I celebrated with a Mother's Brewing Doozy! and a bunch of yard work. Also, happy St. Louis Craft Beer Week! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make it to any of the events. Perennial had a "Between the Barrels" night on Tuesday. It was a first come first served event where they broke out some of every barrel aged beer that they've made (BA Abraxas, BA 17, BA Sump), a new sour that they've been working on, and a couple from Side Project Brewing. Side Project is literally the side project of head brewer, Cory King. Everything will either be sour, barrel aged, or both, so keep on the look out for that.

We are also starting to see pumpkin beers starting to come out. I know that this summer hasn't been a real summer for us, but August is too early for pumpkin beers and Oktoberfests. At least wait until next month.

Fra i morgen, den 3. August, vil det være muligt at smage Blåbær Lambikken i Ølbutikken. Vær venligst opmærksom på at tilbudet kun gælder som drink in i Ølbutikken.

Hvis man ikke kan komme forbi Ølbutikken den 10. er det muligt få lagt et sæt til side hvis man mailer til [email protected], men husk nu, da der også skal være nok flasker til de folk der tropper op den 10. er det begrænset hvor mange sæt vi kan reservere.

At long last it's here: Cantillon Blåbær Lambik vintage 2013 will be released next Saturday - AUGUST 10th at 15.00 in Ølbutikken only!
The mythic beer is very limited and can be purchased in a set of 1x75 cl and 1x37 cl bottle. Only 1 set per customer.
But as of tomorrow August 3rd you can enjoy Blåbær Lambik 2013 in Ølbutikken. Please note that the prerelease is "Drink In Only" - no exceptions!

If you unable to attend the happening in Ølbutikken you can make a reservation at [email protected], please inform us when you plan to pick up the beers. Blåbær Lambik cannot be reserved through the webshop.
