-You can argue about quality and pricing all you want, I for one don't mind paying for something of quality as a collector, if its crap then I won't buy it, no one makes me spend my money, Thats a choice I make, so if I've spent £30 on something or £50 its because I want to, its a company's prerogativeto put out a product as its ours whether we buy it.

WTF is your problem dude, someone said in response to my comment no one is questioning the pricing on this release, I quoted your comment to prove the point people are, then you come out with some comment like that.

I thought this was a place to positively discuss stuff, apparently you can't talk freely about things or now seemingly quote people without some bombastic comment being thrown back

Well we know the steel will be WWA so here's hoping they can do something interesting with the slip and goodies, as FA is bringinh an FAC with WEA so they will be more unique. I might just have to cancel my zavvi now and try and get these 2! Don't want to triple dip especially if manta will already come with the WWA, no point getting the zavvi

@Maximus15 i think it's still the WWA for FAC
So far my understanding is every release so far will be WWA Steelbook but manta and FAC are the first to come out and say they are doing a full package (full slip and or lenti etc).
Maybe kimchi will as its fox (they have had a couple of fox titles including DOFP) and maybe nova too

Im saying, why are we basically telling a company to do what another company is doing? They are providing a fullslip, lenti and quarter slip with a lenti magnet, thats all been done before, they're putting in a book with cards etc, all been done before.

Let me just stop you there in case you didn't read my previous post before constructing your reply. Please read again below for your convienence.

Definately they need to pull something out the bag, it can't be a boxset with 3 versions as it is not worth it with a WWA. Hopefully they will get a bright idea to make something special, artwork or otherwise. I'm scratching my head to what they could do differently, I'm sure everything has been done already.

Notice the last sentence meaning what they could do "differently". Put another way something that has not been done before. So once again your statement of what u think I said is completely the opposite of what I actually said, please read before constructing your arguments otherwise they are not valid.

Where else does it go from there? Its the first release for gods sake. Lets see if they deliver on this before saying they should be doing what FAC are doing. Last time I check, this is a WEA, FAC only do WWA, its the first package of this sort for a DC movie, No company have done that last time I checked, theres two things that they have to their credit already.

Um I don't think people are asking for them to do exactly the same as FA, I did not re my last post above, remember the "differently" part? Well if FA are not doing a WEA then that's fine there will be more competition between them both and hopefully they come up with something different. I fully support Manta and want them to be different and stand out from the competitors while matching or exceeding in quality. This part is important "quality", this is what we are comparing, construction, materials, assembly.

Im not living in the stone age, but if you want FAC packages then just buy them. How can you give feedback on an item that hasn't even been released yet though.

I'm not sure you are even living in the Internet age mate, seems like your not even reading the posts your retorting against, then coming up with arguments that don't even relate to what was said . i just think all this talk comparing steelbook's is great but i my opinion the top retailer's like nova-kimchidvd-filmarena-blufans-hdzeta all produce top quality steelbook products in there own style and right. am pretty sure manta have done there home work before entering the steelbook world knowing they will have to produce the same standard of quality to keep the punters happy and keep them coming back for more manta releases as we all know it is a battle field out there

Thanks guys, I new FA done WEA artwork, I was just so focused on dismissing covcraig's statements as not even related to what he was supposed to be replying to that I couldn't be bothered to dismiss that argument too. I like to discuss different versions on these threads. IMO it could get a bit complicated if we were to have these release threads and then this release compared to this release threads.
