Really disappointed with this. £25 for an average steel. A wasted effort - this should have been great.

The actual film itself is awesome, but the repetition of the artwork inside and out (which isn't that great anyway) and the fact that the keychain is missing (for now at least) makes the £25 seem almost criminal. Gutted I spent this much, should have just kept the amaray.

Dredd is a modern Sci-Fi/Action movie masterpiece, in the same vein as 70's/80's greats like Assault On Precinct and Escape From New York, in my opinion!
Still, there's no accounting for taste!!! ;)

No argument about the Stallone movie though!
To be honest, its hard for me to even get past the odd looking helmet. It looks like an adult sized Laser Tag helmet on a little kid.

I've got the French metal pack and the quality on that disc is superb. Much better than the grainy UK version. Hopefully Nova will hit the back of the net with their steel. This one doesn't look that great.

Don't understand the negativity towards the U.K. 'Dredd' steelbook - it's not as if it was ordered blind !
The artwork has been up for everyone to see for ages and if people didn't like it they wouldn't have ordered it and causing it to be 'Sold out' though clearly those people who ordered it because they liked it don't contribute to this thread . . .

There are 2 other steelbook options at the time of writing and both have their good and bad points but as a whole they are no worse or no better than this one . . . IMO.

Give this one a break and consider the OK price - from The Hut at least - and the free 9 quid keychain.

The artwork is lovely on the pre order picture but in hand its a complete and utter crop job a right mess fella

Nicely mentioned @Ashisarobot
The original 'Assault on Precinct 13' - now THAT'S a film I'd LOVE to have on Blu-ray :)

While Dredd didn't set the box office alight, because of many reasons including lack of promotion, thanks to word of mouth it's one of the biggest selling cult bluray/dvd's, It was well received critically and won quite a few awards within the scifi industry including being voted the best film that year by several respected international magazines readerships. It's as far from trash as they come and anyone that thinks it's trash is either trolling or just doesn't like Judge Dredd which is fair enough, but it's an excellent film far better than most modern scifi action movies, with a great cast and stunning visuals. It certainly isn't trash!
