Right? Collectors that buy sets and never open them baffle me. Why even bother buying a nice set to leave it sealed on a shelf.
At that point they're not movie collectors, buying the best edition for themselves, or because they're a fan, but 'investors', adding 'value' to their collection, with the intention of possibly selling it later.
It's like a high-demand 'girlfriend', that sucks a lot of money out of you, before 'giving it up', which is kind of worse, than an honest prostitute, that names the price up front, and gets down to business.
Basically it's onanism.

Disagree @tha_lunatic is a sealed collector and he's definitely a cheap prostitute. I mean he actually gives it away for free, to anyone, or anything

:naughty:

St. Elmo's Fire.

Kevin Dolenz: I don't pay for sex.

Naomi: Oh, no?

Kevin Dolenz: No.

Naomi: Oh, you think that if you get a little wife or a girlfriend that you don't pay? You pay. Then you can never be sure you're gonna get it. Now, with Naomi...

Kevin Dolenz: Naomi?

Naomi: Yeah. You pay and you get it. Oh, you get it *good*.

Kevin Dolenz: Food for thought. Food for thought.

Here was me thinking zavvi are getting better at packing these limited editions or maybe I just had a good run of late.

I’m sure guys mentioned when they ordered the dawn of the dead ltd from zavvi it was bubble wrapped and shipped in a good sturdy box?
Certainly not the case here a wrap around box barley big enough to wrap it properly obviously no bubble wrap and cardboard as thin as paper.
And it’s all banged up.
Yes I could have ordered direct from second sight but I pay a premium on postage to get it and thought as I heard zavvi packed well the dawn of dead set this be the same.

They obviously must love the hassle of customers complaining I should have know better.
I was going to cancel mine and get elsewhere but was too late as payment taken then thought good job I never as sold out.
But wished I had now, not sure who is worse zavvi or amazon to be honest.

This really puts me off getting limited editions from them now going forward this was a very poor attempt packing it safely.
Be interested to know how others received there ones from them.
