That's what I thought. Tbh, that makes all the difference to me. It means there's a gloss base under the matte, so it's not streaky. Cheers for confirming!
Got mine, looks same treatment as the running down the sand dunes edition for part one. Both look nice together

I got mine paired up with the other wwa release (same orange dusky colour). This looks good too though!

Do the titles and spine titles line up with the blue variant? Kinda bugging me that they don't on the other version.
Nope, unfortunately not. I believe it's like that across the board. None of the steelbook Part 1s match the sequel.
I think there are two more D2 variants to be released in the EU. Maybe one of them will match, but I doubt it.
Think I got lucky with this one! Missed out on ordering so went to see if they had stock in my local HMV Monday morning. Unfortunately there weren't any, but refreshed the page when I got back home and it was in stock so I grabbed it! Just got it today and looks great! First steelbook in about a year or 2 lol
