I assumed this was just a non-premium standalone release btw, and not one that will include slips etc.

Mainly the fact they posted it via MantaLab rather than Collectong. But also because I reckon it might be part of a new line featuring art by illustrators (again, just another assumption lol).

Either way, it's most likely a result from this post back in February...

Has to include slips. This is not well received at all and no one wants to collect manta without the bells and whistles.

They also need to slow down a bit. There’s so many pre orders with them they are turning into FAC and I don’t like it

On their FB page they announced to be extremely happy about it. Well, all the comments were negative so... But I don't think they can ask an artist to redo his work...

Yeah not a big fan of it. Looks better with the pet slip on. Anyway I don‘t like premium steelbooks that have no title, in my personal opinion a debossed/embossed title is just part of the experience. Hope this doesn‘t turn into a trend.

yeah, Im also not super big on the movie, and only really like nova steel itself.. ones definitely enough, and the german steel is good enough if you want an alternative
