Seems like it, its a lot of people's wants and I only seen one recently (and trust me, I checked A LOT of stores in different regions)

In regards to the thread topic, my favorite slip is now the IB CA Blockbuster.

Is say my favs are storm warriors slip and punisher CAN slip and i guess i would have to add in jennifers body embossed UK slip, and golden compass US embossed slip too

A few of my rare ones. Got more on the way. I remember getting beetlejuice at walmart for $10.00 a while back. Had I known it would be a rare one woulda got more. Oh well win some and lose some.

I have 4 of those, used to have Iron Man.... I've had some chances to buy it again but its been in not so mint condition so I passed it up.

I am not a slip cover collector. However, I have a few I like. "Dances with Wolves, and the lenticular cover of "Metropolis." The "Metropolis" cover was very limited. Some people that had pre-ordered the movie on Amazon didn't get the lenticular slip. I would say if you are a collector, you definitely need that one in your collection.

Rare slipcovers? Tell me please!

Hello guys,

As you know im new to collecting slipcovers. Can you guys and girls please tell me what slipcovers are rare, and worth something? Which ones were limited etc? Basically, which ones I should keep an eye out for?

Also tell me if their possible to get in stores still? Im confused how this works.

I heard Casino Royal is rare, and treat r treat, however not sure if their limited or not? Also, not sure if I still can get them in a store?

Also tell me which ones are rare right now in store? I saw loads of Blu-Rays with slipcovers today, but I didnt buy any as I didnt know what was limited, and rare. Otherwise, I would of got the cheaper versions.

Lenti means lenticular. The ones with the 3d effect on the cover. I'd say the rarest of them all would be Dracula. You would be looking at $100 and up on eBay and to find it in a store would be next to impossible. The one deuce mentioned are pretty rare as well, there is another thread here that will give you an idea of rare ones. I'd suggest getting a good trading partner as you can get a lot of good items without a crazy online markup if you find someone who can source these items and is willing to trade.

In normal stores such as best buy, target, etc I'd say not a huge chance. I have gotten lucky at stores that sell used and pre owned blu rays. I got a trick r treat slip from movie trading company. And I've seen some goldies there too recently. I got a brand new casino royale on eBay sealed for 24$ you just have to be patient sometimes with the auctions. I was bidding on one and the auction got up to like 45$ and I backed out, then a guy listed one for 24.99 buy it now a day later,
