Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.
Best Regards
PLAIN ARCHIVE

All these awesome pictures make me want this even more , but my copy hasn't even left Korea yet! :( I'm hoping it just missed the flight yesterday and will be on its way today.
(It updated to Departure from outward office of exchange yesterday, but hasn't updated to Incheon / had a flight numer assigned yet).

Maybe I'll have it this time next week if I'm lucky.

My PET edition came today. The steel has a few small imperfections like a surface scratch on the back (typical of glossy steels), a small ding on the top front left corner and the corners are not painted properly. Nothing to complain about overall though.

The corners on the steelbook come that way. It's not that they have not been painted properly. I am guessing PA have had quite a few enquires regarding this matter and addressed it on FB by saying it's not accidental, it's part of the art.
