Or maybe the scalpers did not order as many as usual, because actually all these expensive Asian steelbooks do not sell as good as probably a year ago anymore. Many sell at cost price or even below. Considering the fees and all, there is almost no profit anymore. A great situation for us collectors...

I think that's only half of it. What you're seeing on the website is the "international" allocation not being sold out. So I think the main reason is Black Friday/Holiday season. I'm sure Inside out and Dredd will sell out in the future, but not just yet. Kimchi & Nova might already expected this. Not everything gotta sellout within 5 minutes of preorder.

International Customers

We noted that the character cards of the Inside out will be changed from paper cards to the transparent pet material cards as like attached file.

And they will be enveloped.

New art cards (charater cards) will be protected with protective film on the card.

The image of the envelope will be notified soon.

I am sure 50% of collectors are resellers or will be resellers at some point in time when the format becomes less collectible or when they quit their hobby.

High cost price is not good on a long run as it will impact sales.

This one is $57 = £37 which is £12 to £15 above the price in EU markets which comes with bonus disc as well.

Check Blufans releases. They nose dive after 6 months. The market is volatile and it only takes a financial crisis for many to quit this expensive hobby.
