Killzone 2 is an upcoming science fiction first-person shooter for the PlayStation 3, currently in development by Guerrilla Games and to be published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is the third installment in the Killzone franchise that began on the PlayStation 2 with Killzone and was continued with Killzone: Liberation on the PlayStation Portable. First announced at E3 2005 in Los Angeles, California,[5] Killzone 2 is due for release in February 2009.

Killzone 2 follows the events of Killzone and Killzone: Liberation, and will take place entirely on the planet Helghan, the home-world of the Helghast, who invaded an Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) colony. Two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta, the ISA has launched an assault on the enemy's home world of Helghan. The ISA goal is to capture the Helghast leader, Emperor Scolar Visari, and bring the Helghast war machine to a halt. Players assume the role of Sergeant Tomas "Sev" Sevchenko, a battle-hardened veteran of the special forces unit known as "The Legion", who go on a mission to take out the Helghast threat.

During the invasion of Helghan, Sev's unit is deployed behind enemy lines to assist the main invasion force. Tasked with securing the enemy capital of Pyrrhus, the team quickly discovers that the Helghast are a more formidable enemy on their home planet. Not only have they adjusted to Helghan's hostile conditions, they have also harnessed a source of power they can now use against the ISA - the very planet on which they live. A barren, unforgiving world, Helghan provides a ready defense with thick, acidic air, dust clouds, and violent surgical lightning storms. Sev discovers his squad is not just fighting enemy forces – their fiercest opponent may be the planet itself

Yeah I had alot of fun guys ... man, tho, I do suck at this game ... but surprisingly I kept a 1;1 K/D ...

I will admit ... this one dude PUNKED me bad ....

I was on that last game I played, that map and i was running or walking more like around some building and some dude came up behind me and shot me like once and I turned around and shot at him and missed him twice ... and he was like....

"Ohhhh man, your a n00b, Its ok man, I'll leave you alone" and he starts leaving and telling his teamates "Damn this guy is a noob" ... to make it worse I went after him and died.

Starting to really get into this game again. The "Rocket" match last night was the most fun I'd had in a long time!! Wreck, bailey & Zeus know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

so I got some questions on some these trophies...

say im going for the 25 revives or 75 knife kills in the story mode ...

I beat the story mode .... and didnt get those, does that mean I gotta do all those again until I hit that or if Iplay again does it keep counting?

Also, if I injure my dude with my bullets and revive him, does that count?

same question with the kill 1000 helghast and 1500 ... you gotta do that all during just one go through of story mode? If so, how ... just post up somewhere and let them keep coming/spawning?

I got the 500 one. And there is no way to check your status on this right? (via pause menu?)

i was thinking about intering this lil thing if they just gave me the 8 grand to spend i would probally buy a sony tv and ps3 games anyway but i dont have a team and the leader of my clan not gonna say his name never organizes anything.

i finally got through the refinery level on elite tonight. i know im slow happy to get through that one cause other than radec, its the hardest level IMO.

we'll see how much i spend playing campaign tho with the new map packs and trophies to be gettin this weekend
