Comes to life when you take it out of the cellophane. I thought it was a plain matte finish but it isn't. It looks lovely naked in the light. Clean, sleek with a reflective finish.

Got this today (Netherlands). It has a very plain artwork, without any emboss or deboss.
It was so easy to fail this completely by adding a matte finish, but cause of the gloss it looks stunning
The inside art is perfect in my opinion. I like this one very much!

I like the final product, just not so excited about the basic random font and position of the back quote. Do we really need it poorly added like this? bah...

Glad to hear it. This is in my top 10 of all time. And nothing will ever shift it out of that place. My old French teacher brought my whole class to see it in our teens, you can imagine the impact it had on us.

@ihategiantspiders Sounds like you had an awesome French teacher then! The best thing my French teacher ever did was give us all a croissant each... it was pretty yummy to be fair.

Digging up an old thread, but does anyone know if this has the same subs as the DVD release? I used to teach this at A-level a while ago, and the UK DVD Steelbook is by far and away the best translation - even outdoing the Criterion subs. Just wondered if anyone knows if the Blu steel has the same subs as the DVD steel? Cheers.
