Damn, feel I need sunglasses on that holofoil is so BRIGHT... Bossing, textures and spot gloss all look great though and very well done Look forward to receiving in-hand and I'll judge accordingly then...

Holofoil is getting old, and even if it weren't, there's just too much of it here. It also seriously weakens the base colors of anything it coats, which is a bad thing in this case. Oh well.

Just bare in mind that these are pics and I feel that it will look less colourful when in hand and until you start moving it around.

The embossing is just mad detail. LOVE IT ALL, nice one Manta!!

I wanted the slip colors to be more in line with what we see in the mock-ups. The embossing and texture of the suit is amazing and the best I've seen but holofoil effect is just bringing it down and doesn't look good at all. I hope Manta goes back and reprints the slip without the holofoil.

of course they will reprint another 1000 or so lol

To be honest it should be mentioned way ahead that it'd be holofoil finish... I'm not a fan of it tho... collecting steelbooks nowadays like gambling, gloss or matte, plain or debossed/embossed, holofoil or not... many times we'd never know...

Thanks for the feedback. However with most holofoil based releases you would know that the effect is not as intense as depicted in the pictures if the image is perpendicular to your line of sight. (Escape From New York / Mullholland Drive slips etc).

Manta is taking the feedback to make necessary adjustments for their next release.

I like it overall (great artwork and embossing!), but can agree with what most have already said... the holofoil is very OTT and I would've preferred it without any at all to be honest. At the moment it kind of reminds me of the old Nicolas Cage costume lol.

I don't own any holofoil releases so this would of been welcome in my collection. If I had seen these photos before pre order I would of jumped on it. It's a shame.

There seems to be a fair few against the full slip now so maybe I'll get a chance of picking one up at some point

That looks really really good! Excellent attention to detail, the design is fantastic.
Although I have to agree with some here, I would of preferred it without holofoil personally, I think it detracts from the effort that has been put into the slip. BUT, it is still an excellent intro from Manta Lab, and they can be proud of what they have done there I think
Hopefully the holofoil thing will be a one off, I can accept it with this as I only have Nightcrawler Nova with holofoil, so I have no fear of David Dickinson syndrome from them blowing my eyes out!

Gorgeous fullslip. Definitely everything I expected and more from Manta.

I absolutely love my holofoil Kimchidvd Terminator Salvation and now I have another full slip with similar coating.
