Disappointing, looks cheap! Should have gone with a nice thick card and stuck to the mock up style of colouring with spot glossing similar to Nova John Wick full slip.

Hope this won't become the norm for Manta Labs.

Glad my full slip is for a friend because I certainly wouldn't be keeping it, if it wasn't for him.

Said it a few times already but I love the holofoil effect. The embossed superman costume / text is the cherry on top.

What's with the outline on Superman? Looks like it was pasted on the full slip.The outlining of the body makes it less natural looking.

Lol sounds like everyone is just jumping on the bandwagon and finding a reason to bash this release now.

That outlining is embossing how else will they deboss the costume to give it that honeycomb effect ? You could say Novas T2 steel is un-natural as well then as arnie is embossed on that with an outline.

And I don't think the holofoil will be that strong once in hand. The pics have been taken in an angle to show that it has holofoil.

You don't need any outlining involved with embossing.There are tons of designs with NO OUTLINING in embossing or debossing.I think they wanted to emphasize the embossing but went a step too far.It happens when you don't have the proper background in art or design...it's ok.You learn from your experiences as you go along.It's their first release.Anybody who thought this was a "grail" status from the get go was just being too close or too sensitive to the movie.That is understandable.

I don't understand why people are so disappointed with the holofoil, it looks beautiful, it fits superman, its the man of steel, of course it has to be holofoil, what would have wanted in the background, trees and clouds and the sky? Of course there will not be holofoil on the revenant and deadpool, manta lab has made an amazing fullslip and steelbook and i can't wait to proudly display it in my cabinet

I like it (the full slip) very much, maybe slightly too much holofoil and with Manta in no rush to provide more pics I'm guessing the holofoil in the pics must be a true representation of the finished product.
It's a shame this hasn't been received well with collectors especially as Manta promised everything a collector could want.
From the comments in this thread there are definitely more members that do not like this product than those that say they do like it.
Such a shame for Manta on their very first project.
