I don't understand why it would matter? I wanted it sooner, and I have preordered the uk one as well, as a collector I have many different versions of the same films in steel books,

Fair enough. I just don't understand why you didn't like the 3D logo on it then? If it didn't have it then it would be identical to the UK one which you've also ordered???

i also favoured the german edition for 2 reasons,
firstly, the german edition is an amazon.de. exclusive, as opposed to the uk edition being a multiple retailer release,
secondly, i also did not want to wait another 6 weeks and didn't mind paying more.
