Videodrome is selling vey well I would advise putting an order inCertainly in no rush to buy this at full price as with much from David Cronenberg it's probably an acquired taste and is unlikely to sell out at full price IMO.
Same goes for all those hefty boxsets (all prices from Amazon because of their more suitable packaging) as who would wish to receive these in anything other than sturdy thick cardboard boxes ?
'Videodrome' (GBP 25), 'Long Good Friday + Mona Lisa' (GBP 40.57), 'Black Cats' (GBP 32.50) and 'Hellraiser 1-3 boxset' (GBP 50.50) etc. which though all very nice indeed look like they would take up an awful lot of shelf space. Then again, if the prices were right, which they aren't right now, for me anyway, who knows.
Maybe if they were limited to 1,000 instead of 3,000 I'd be in there at the current price for 'Black Cats' at least. On second thought, no - still too expensive
Then again I bought the chunky 'Battle Royale' Digipack boxset in 2010 and that was a 'Limited' edition of thousands and thousands.
Great fan of standard Arrow stuff and I buy all of their stand-alone clear Amarays sooner or later as well as their mini digipack boxsets such as 'Nekromantik', 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2', 'Society', 'Koyaanisqatsi + Powaqqatsi', 'Stray Cat Rock Collection' etc.
Regarding this October's Arrow release of a 4K transfer of 'Deep Red ('Profondo Rosso') anyone know if this is the real deal and if other titles will follow in matching packaging ?
