Was there 2 different versions of the Mark VI ? or do you mean you've got Mark IV ?

There is an Iron Man 2 Mark VI (MMS132), and an Avengers Mark VI (MMS171).

Aha, yes I keep forgetting about the movie promo Mark VI. I too preferred the interchangeable battle damage parts from MMS132.
I already had a Mark IV with a visible Tony Stark head so didn't feel the need to get MMS171
