Monster Party
in fact I really liked him
he has a lot of negative reviews, but I'm happy
a lot of good actors, an interesting idea and a lot of blood!

A hard watch at 160 minutes, but definitely worth it. It's extremely slow and meditative, but the cinematography and overall mood are really beautiful. Might be a 5 star film if I ever have the energy to watch it again and try to understand it properly. Great release from criterion.

I thought this was brilliant. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Great family movie.

Sonys animation studio has really impressed me. First Into The Spider Verse and now this....

A film I always watch at least twice every year. Emotionally charged film. The black and white cinematography is amazing, and it looks amazing in 4K. This film has it all: cast (esp. Fiennes), directing, cinematography, music etc. There is no way I will ever give this film less than 5 Ninja's. An essential film, that is still powerful today, as it was back then.

Could well be my favourite film of all time. For me this film is a true definition of an epic. The filming, direction, acting, cinematography, soundtrack are utterly fantastic. The restoration work done for this 4K is first class, and does this film justice. Another film I watch at least once a year (sometimes 2). Another essential movie.

Thought this would have been much better. But still an entertaining zombie film. One particularly annoying character ruined it for me...

I'd still buy a steelbook release of course!!

After looking forward to it so much, I was kinda disappointed with this. Being a fan of Taylor Sheridan it just wasn't up to his previous work. Some of the plot was just too OTT for me. Not as grounded or realistic as say, Wind River.

Maybe it's because its based on a book and apart from directing he only has a screenplay credit shared with 2 others.....?

Solid horror. Better than I thought it would be.

My only complaint is the main villain isn't as scary/creepy as the first two films though....

Also not remotely realistic that a woman with Kermit the Frog arms is a smoke jumper.
