My dad had always told me how much he liked the film, so I expected a lot from it, and after finally seeing it last night I think my expectations may have been too high. I felt it was a bit too long and dragged in places... I wasn't aware there was an extended cut by the way, but I watched the "normal" cut. Don't get me wrong, it is a good film and I liked it overall (3 stars is a decent rating IMO)... also, Bruno Ganz performance as Hitler is one of the best I've seen! I imagine I'll like the film a lot more on rewatch though (now that I know exactly what to expect), and will more than likely bump it up to 4 stars when that time comes.

I think I would've liked the movie less if I watched the trailers before. Good thing I stayed away from them.
I watched the trailers after and O M G! they reveal everything! One of them is actually 3 minutes long.

Any other criticism for the movie? The good, the bad, and the ugly? Don't worry I wont bite.

It's a good film. Like you said they revealed too much in the 1st official trailer (i.e. Wonder Woman) and it's so good that it hyped you so much that you wouldn't expect anything less. I think less Diana Prince appearance would be better. I think her earlier interaction with Bruce Wayne ruins the final fight scene. I like that they're continuing the Christ parallel.

Yea, may be less Diana would've been better. Like remove all of her interactions with Bruce and just bring her as a surprise in the final fight scene.

And the whole Christ thing? Of course, Superman is the savior of men. Also...

Snyder said that he needed him to die in order to be "born anew". I'm thinking he's planning to give him more positive attitude in Justice League? Because in this movie he was gloomy and down throughout. Plus, Snyder said that he felt it'll be too easy for Batman to recruit the rest of JL with Superman alive. And that Batman needs to convince these meta-humans to join JL without Superman around. We shall see how it goes.

Hardcore Henry (A.K.A Hardcore):

Excellent movie. Great combination of the movie Crank and Call of Duty video games. Only bad thing is that this type of movie probably won't catch on very quickly, making it a cult classic (would love to be proven wrong, though.) Highly recommend giving this movie a chance since the first person aspect works great for the most part.

Hardcore -

- The main reason I'm not giving five stars is that I'm quite sure it'll work even better with VR headset. I'll save the highest score for that. Many parts gave me chills, always easy to appreciate innovations in a genre which isn't exactly known from those. Possibly this year's Mad Max for me (with a bit smaller budget ). Must see at the cinema.
