These postcards, no matter how seemingly inconsequential, could tilt the balance in favour of a release.

Some collectors will find it useless and will simply buy their country's release, some others will be after the most complete steelbook.

Is this version going to be G1 or G2? Pics look G1 but hard to imagine they'd make a G1 release when all other countries are getting a G2 release.

I think I did.

I still think that picture looks G1 sized. All other Skyfall mockups I've seen are unmistakably G2 and distributors do like putting out G1's in France.

The picture definitely looks G1, and France does seem to get a good chunk of G1 sized steels. I'm really hoping that the image is just stretched. I've compared the other releases and it looks to be the case but only time will tell I guess.

Only Warner releases G1 size in France. And even Warner has ceased to release G1 size now (see The Hobbit thread)

Yep , only warner does G1 size steels.
I don't know if they really completely stopped doing so though.
