Come on, the price is very high with £74.99. That`s a price range where it should be perfect.
£74.99? Lol for the collectors set which has way more then the bog standard steelbook which is what is in question here. Besides as I said previously it's not just the UK that's got this finish. Germany has as well if you wanna check the thread for that release there's a few photos there that show this "major issue" personally I don't see an issue. I'm sure when I unbox it tomorrow I'll be more then happy

I preordered it, but the release is Nov.25 - so I don`t know. It looks similar to this release and it is also expensive (Eur 24,99 for the Blu-Ray Steelbook). I will see

Again that's based off photos it might look totally different in hand. We will find out properly tomorrow when it arrives for those who have ordered this and thor ragnarok. Even the German steelbook has the same finish based on the photos in that thread. Plus I've seen several posts on Instagram where you can't even see the brush metallic thing on these releases. I'm just saying I don't see the big deal of it. Doesn't effect the way I view them. But I'm not one of those nip picky people where everything has to be perfect.

you can see in pictures that ragnarok is like this one. If spidey in my hand looks the same as these photos then I’m sure Ragnarok will be the same judging by photos. I’m happy with the 4K steels anyway. But the ragnarok one does look a little more muted and brushed metal finish compared to the rest of them

Zavvi steel should be here tomorrow or Tues with HMV and then maybe Amazon GER. Followed by FAC and [the much better than Zavvi's CE] Amazon JP edition.

I saw the Ragnarok4KSteel in the steelbook thread and first thought it is a sticker steelbook.

With the Tower Bridge London landmark had to order this but compared to previous Spidey steelbooks (UK) from a few years back - complete with embossed artwork and great lentis for a fraction of the price - this is not floating my boat.
Nevertheless the artwork got me thinking about London landmarks on the front of our steelbooks . . . granted Big Ben features on nearly all of them (yawn) and seems to be the designers go to option for films set in London ...

and so on...

... when all I want to see is the magnificent brooding presence of Battersea Power Station on a steelbook cover one day:-

Serious question. Why do you feel the need to share all this pointless information on here?

I for one will be happy to have this release. It has an iconic landmark and it’s glossy.
took the photo about an hour ago, it was a nightmare driving through it due to tourists. Plus I didn’t want to get knicked for using my phone on the road.
seems to be a similar angle to the cover shot.View attachment 454558
I got back from a weekend in London yesterday. It was super busy but then it was obviously Remembrance day and so many roads blocked. Saw Joker at the Odeon Luxe and had the room to ourselves!

Maybe because I'm generous.

Same gloss varnish finish (+ same sky/cloud configuration LOL)as the German with metallic reflections to said sky and to Spidey's eyes:-

They are very similar looking seeing side by side like that, but I like it because of the obvious different backgrounds and the difference in swinging poses.
Strange really because I prefer the London Background but prefer the flying pose on the German edition.
