What was the consensus on the BR2049 release in the end? Where on the premium scale did it land for folks who picked it up?
Yeah very strange choice. BR2049 was a great choice to start with but I was never that enamoured with the art for that release. The omission of Ana de Armas & focus on Deckard in his lounge-about grey tee just doesn't work well art wise imo. That & I was rather wary of a new company tbh. I like Homecoming but I'm completely satisfied with editions I have. Maybe they are banking on hype of new Spidey but would be nice for a premium company to take a year off from superhero movies... there's plenty of great films that deserve such treatment.Very meh
I obviously got my OC through a GB but if you don't have access to them and was hoping for a direct buy that never happened I wouldn't be getting FOMO over it
We clearly don't need yet another Spiderman Homecoming release either but new company picking titles they think will sell well for them

Yeah I just clocked No way Home listing. Why is this number 004 and NWH is 002 ? That's backwardsLooks like they're only dealing with Sony at the moment so big money titles from them does limit things a little
From what I've read there's been very little art from BR2049 involving JOI that has been approved for releases which is the reason for that, think the only ones I've seen are the Blufans OAB and the Relite OC box covers?Yeah very strange choice. Yeah OC box art the best thing about the release. If I had my choice I'd use this as wrap around art for a slip...From what I've read there's been very little art from BR2049 involving JOI that has been approved for releases which is the reason for that, think the only ones I've seen are the Blufans OAB and the Relite OC box covers?
I’d probably end up buying that thoughGreat choice, fingers crossed they do The Dark Knight Trilogy next.

I thought it was decent, something like a seven out of ten. They did fumble the quality control though, my OC turned up with a ding and an extra drip of gloss but the worst offender was the micro scratches on the steelbooks, I think the entire run had them as I've yet to see one pass under close scrutiny. What was the consensus on the BR2049 release in the end?
