Fair enough mate. You sound more well versed than I here with your experience. It does sound like a lot of admin & I'm not clued up enough around spam detection tbfAs we've seen before though it's not necessarily active Ninja's that use HDN GB's. There's some that contributed nothing to the forum and just used the GB's. So then the only way of vetting which Ninja's can use the GB's would be using post count like the old days but that then just invites spam posts which then needs policing etc
Getting major deja vu now, had these convo's years ago![]()

Flloydo tried to tell you broDamn. I am dumb![]()

You can take the argument the other way though, offering GBs might go some way to encouraging new members, both a pro and a con as you'll get the kinds of people you want along with some you might not feel so great about but that's a risk with any public forum.Karma systems can work in given situations. Not always fully free from abuse though, but despite that, it has it's uses. Takes a lot of moderation though I guess. Being an active member doesn't take much effort right. Get involved.
Taking now for example. It's actually wild to see way less than 10% online at one time and of those 23K members only 66 are online right now and how many are actually actively posting? Not too many.
Seeing that and reading @tommyh84 posts, I get the annoyance from OG members and I get the reasons for having some sort of GB membership rules. I hadn't really taken into account these potential factors. Genuinely thought everyone who joined the site posted at least every day or other day. Damn. I am dumb![]()
