I managed to get a copy, but there remains a very bitter after taste.:grumpy:
it does not matter whether you make it or not, you will anyway end up like this:

I guess this torture is a part of the Ultimate Novamedia experience.:vomit:

The reason why there is difficulty ordering on-line direct is because over half the stock is already gone through group buys and there are also resellers they provide stock with before it goes live on the website.
Majority of customers order from a retailer using the website store so when most of the stock is already gone because of GB etc it causes more strain on the website than if all copies where available direct it's that simple
It still sells out fast but has less issues and less strain on the website getting to checkout is easier before it sells out

All high demand titles should only be sold on their website as in when a print run of 2,000 or 4,000 every single unit can be only purchased from their website

It's basic website setup you need the units to supply the demand
putting them all on there website is not going to solve any thing still going to have a lot of unhappy people even if the check out process worked fine and fast it's a low print run imo !

The issues with the website is caused by most of the stock already gone it should not be like that if you want to sell to customers and then expect these same customers to return to your on-line store and purchase other releases

Look at the number of very angry customers on Facebook and even more shocking not a single Sorry reply from Novamedia or any reply as to how they will solve these issues
You would be surprised as to how many customers not aware about HDN and other web forums most order using a retailer on-line webstore

There are lots of business who are a lot smaller setup up compared to Novamedia but they don't have these website issues simply because they have the on-line store working correctly to handle extra internet traffic they get fast sell out without checkout issues
but still even with all the web site problems and the posts on facebook people still turn up and try for the next nova release even though they remember the stress levels of ordering the last time !

That is why all units need to be sold on-line only to reduce the strain on the website it still sells out fast but has less issues
If other business can sell 2,000 units fast without any checkout issues so can Novamedia by simply investing in their business and then get repeat customers to purchase other releases they are struggling to sell

If customers don't visit your website they don't see the other releases available and that results in loss of a possible sale
Happy customer = repeat customer
Unhappy customer = other retailers getting the sales instead

The more you annoy customers ability to be able to order a product = lost customers

I wanted 1 click, but for the first time I couldn't beat Magneto in this one hour battle no matter how hard I tried :dead:. As it went OOS :lock:, I went to try lenti and gladly got it. I could have joined the GB, but I took the risk and I can only blame myself :D.

but they always do visit there website or there facebook page to see what is going on and whats new coming up it's like they are drawn to the dark side lol

I was not interested in the one click or the Lenti
I only wanted Full Slip A
Most of the one-clicks was already taken up with various group buys with different web forums and this caused majority of the stock already gone

The one click itself was the cause of less stock available most customers would just want 1 version be it a Full Slip or a Lenti version

The buyers and management from Novamedia got this release all wrong
Very high demand release requires the units to meet that demand
The one click for this release was not needed especially with a print run of only 2,000 which was mad to start with considering it was Star Wars

They should have had just the 3 versions on their own with the print run been only 2,000 and all units sold on the website and not have any one click
Full Slip A 600 units
Full Slip B 600 units
Lenti 800 units

I used to be a Buyer in Music/Video Retail and the higher demand for a release you ordered to meet that demand and releases with lesser demand you ordered less and only as needed

In my opinion they should have gone with 4,000 units for this release and all units would have sold easily and also would have reduced the checkout issues that happened today

They don't I can tell you now lot of customers have because of their experience with previous releases not visited their website I have been told about this and this has resulted in Novamedia missing out on sales as customers purchased from other retailers instead releases
Novamedia have releases still in stock that other retailers have sold out off because customers decided to use them instead
Facebook is only a small factor in the feedback from customers

It's simple business selling high demand releases and customers experience should be the best possible Novamedia are not providing that experience
If a small business with 5 staff can sell 2,000 units in 1 hour without any website issues to get to checkout so can novamedia by running the business properly

I still don't know how to purchase a group buy lol. Or the criteria for it. How much was a one click on group buy anyway?

1-Click $218.80 including all fees and 2 way shipping << Group Buy
1-Click $174.62 including all fees and Direct Shipping << Nova

that is about $40 more than if you tried to prise it away from Magnetos hands on Nova

in any case after i went through hell and back a few weeks ago with T2 on Nova i decided to pay a little extra to save all this hassle and went with Aniv's group buy ...best decision all week :D

Thanks for your response. I got thru Nova but I'd much rather go thru a GB next time cause it's really a hassle

After the unplesent experience yesterday, I won't purchase any product from them any more, I promise:stop:

Besides, really hate what they've done! Trying to sell three identicle steelbooks as well goodies? Where is their conscience? I think if we really love a movie like Star Wars, we shouldn't let greed of evil retailers like NOVA to smear it!

Full Slip A 500 units
Full Slip B 500 units
Lenti 750 units

But but but ...... Paul that only totals 1750 units:wacky::wacky::wacky::LOL::rofl:;)

yes there my be people that go to other websites to order there item's but were not talking about general releases , we are talking about novas exclusive releases and people will still go and see what is going to be released be it the nova choice or nova exclusive range even though they have been put though the ringer time after time , but i will say they do need to invest some serious money on some top notch servers !
