It's a beautiful steelbook, but unfortunately, because it doesn't have the same brushed-metal sheen as the previous Ghibli US steelbooks, it really doesn't fit in well with the others on the shelf.

I guess Amazon is doing that everywhere now. I'm not sure if Amazon UK is even going to ship the Film Vault SteelBooks to North America.

I haven't seen any posts anywhere about Amazon UK having shipped any Film Vault SteelBooks to anyone, anywhere yet.

That's cool but, sadly, it doesn't include our import duty tax so it'll probably bring it above £50.

The only thing stopping me from sourcing this from eBay right now is the knowledge of whether the special features will be on the 4K disc or blu-ray only which I won't be able to play due to region encoding. Is there anything that states if the special features are on both discs?

I really do need to look at getting a region free player at some point so this kind of thing doesn't matter anymore.

Could go either way. Features are 1080p so chances are higher that they're just on the blu ray. Not sure though. Definitely does need someone who has it to clarify.

USA release as per post# 3 in this thread the extras are exclusive to the Blu-ray disc

Blu-ray is Region A locked

This is definitely the best available steel for me, as the art is most representative for TBATH (and the others are no slouch tbf). Very nice pics @Flloydo

I paticularly like the alt art of the poster with the heron... the music from that scene is my favourite part of the score.
