Glad i didn't manage to order with 20% off, would maybe have felt compelled to get it, but the steelbook designs are terrible.
Why don't they throw out some designs for public consultation before production.

Yeh it's awful. Just cancelled my pre order. I have managed to get the ultimate collectors editions on flea bay now at a good price though. I'm guessing the value of them has plummeted due to this naff release.
Also moved on my 4k filmbooks trilogy to a friend for m8s r8s .
Mental how someone can design this ( and that a stretch design! ) and actually make a living!

If this gets heavily discounted like The Matrix 4 steel set i might be tempted, don't have any of these in 4K.

I'd be a mug not to use it.

I wonder if they were inundated and overwhelmed by the negative feedback that WB have pulled it to revise the art? (doubt it, but wishful thinking)

Wow, I mean, that wouldn't be the first time something was pulled and revised but heck, I'm down for a change for the better.

WB Store have the TBC artwork for the outer box but still have the current art for the individual steels and have a release date listed for the 28th October

It is interesting that HMV have reverted back to the placeholder images

My Tldr: Set is pish.


it's a boring ass, waste of an anniversary. ONLY buy if you don't already own ANY other steels or UHDs like me. Then pick it and feel sad that you laid down moola for this because you need the 4ks and still had an HMV code pre ordered.
