It's only £25 more, not £30, and I don't see the book being sold separately on Amazon, seems OOP, so it's a good package, but I'm obviously not a fan enough, having never seen it, to think I'll ever read that 136 page book, and I like the other Fullslip more, with the possessed.

I wonder why there is a black and a purple box, is one of them an o-card for the leather book?
I guess the black is the fake leather touch o-ring slipcover, that'll end up disappointing everyone, and the purple is the clamshell box.

Also the book might be downsized, like the Ghostbusters set book was, which ended up almost useless, with tiny images and hardly readable sidenote text.

I get that you do not want to purchase this, and I know you are entitled to your opinion, but there are some people who do think it looks good and want to buy it. Do you have to be so negative, especially those who want to order it and are a bit excited to see what it turns out like? I for one look forward to see what it looks like in hand. If I don't like it then I will return it.

It's still for sale on BFI website for 12.99
Amazon may just have no stock

The phrasing "Unique leather grain outer slipcase and clamshell box" has me wondering: does just the outer slipcase have leather grain and the clamshell box not? Or do both of them have it?

****** image, but it may be helpful:

Ah right. Hmm I like the purple slip. But you loose the Regan slip which I prefer I think. Seeing the illustrated art up close on the zavvi links has made me like it much more now. So yeah that looks cool but I think I’ll stick with the normal collectors version. Plus £70 is high

Yeah looking at the slip on the ultimate edition look's really good. So not sure what to do! If it's real leather then this will be unique but won't know until release is issue

Hi all, I'm part of the team working on this release.

The outer box features a high-quality leather-grain finish with gold foiling for the text, similar to A24's recent Green Knight Collector's Edition. It gives the box a premium "book" like feel, perfect for The Exorcist!
- The Green Knight: Collector's Edition

The clamshell has a gloss finish with gold spot glossed text and images. The steelbook, premiums and BFI Film Classics book are all housed in the clamshell with an amazing cut-out 'revealing' Mark Kermode's book.

It is exclusive to Amazon UK on a 2,000 limited run.

Looking forward to seeing what people think!

Now I’ve seen the HQ pics of the bigger version it is a tough decision. Really like the purple box but yeah the regan image is doing it for me just a little bit more.

Maybe I’ll also put in a order for this just in case. But still that’s a lot of money to spend just to see what it’s like

Oh wow! You may of just sold this to me then.

Must say, you’ve done a fine job with these releases. Really have. BUT, I just wish the steel was gloss. My only critique
