Still no news regarding the delayed order. I really am just thinking of cancelling now and getting the ultimate edition instead.

I’m not sure. I’ve seen a couple of folks who were in the same boat and the suddenly it has been despatched today out of nowhere.

Not to give you false hope but it’s possible. Maybe card processing issues and they got reallocated. Who knows.

I always warm the j card from the outside a bit then try and get the warm air to go under the card to attack the glue from there. The spots of glue become very soft eventually and just give up. Never had any residue left personally but maybe it’s to do with the finish they have used. If it doesn’t come off easy it’s not ready. I did ask if anyone has removed without stains. I’m sure I saw one photo set that looked ok; I could be wrong.

I just slooooowly removed the j card off, and the just as slowly rolled the glue off of the box. This left some very light glue stains. Not as obvious as many of the photos shared by other here.

I like the box set. It’s a mixed bag though, it feels like quality, but if you look you’ll find the imperfections … I think it’s worth £50, not 70.

Looking at the pictures I felt that this box was too expensive, so I cancelled and went for the Ultimate. Wasn't going to read the booklet anyway, so it was basically the nice slip I was paying extra for ... Whichdamages a lot due to the glue.

Descision saved me almost 40 euro, so happy I cancelled

I can’t really disagree. I really love the presentation and when I originally looked to buy it I thought there was an extra disc. It really does come down only to a box and a book. I have the book and if The Exorcist wasn’t my favourite film I think I would have sent it back and been really pleased with the Ultimate edition.
