May be in the minority here but I've decided not to buy this one on any steelbook, I finally watched this last week, a movie I may not watch again for a good while, not to say it's not good but I tend to go for ones I like to repeat view more or are my favourites. The steelbook does look really nice though and looks like great packaging but I'll be saving for other releases, enjoy your release for those getting this, no doubt it will be real nice.

The Pyrography creates great debossing effect to the original artworks of "The Revenant". All leather slips have been assembled by skilled leather craftsmen. Multiple stitching on the spine of the slip to give extra details. Velvet covered inside for a subtle finish."
We had options to make the leather slip more luxurious but we wanted to stick to the theme of the movie and apply more weathered and rustic feel to the leather. As a result, we are quite happy with the sample we've received from the leather shop.
Since this is the first time our company introducing a product with new material, we have been getting enormous amount of inquiries and requests both locally and internationally. In order to fulfill the demand, we have decided to change the ratio of our total print run as below.
Leather Slips -> 800 Copies
Full Slips -> 500 Copies
Lenticular Slips -> 400 Copies.

*Avoid sunlight (UVB rays cause the leather to alter)
*Avoid contact with water
*Apply Leather conditioner and/or special oil to protect the case.

I'm undecided about the leather slip or full slip. But reading that I have to buy oils for my leather slip will probably sway me to the full slip. Can't be f*cked with massaging a slip case.
And those who keep it sealed probably won't be happy in a years time
