The 'Shiny Bling Effect' SteelBooks™ thread

I have compiled a list of shiny bling effect artwork steelbook. If you put these steelbook against a light, and move it back and forth, you'll see a shiny effect with certain areas in the steelbook.

This is not a complete list since I can only vouch for the ones that I own.

If you know of any other shiny bling effect steelbook in your collection, then please share with us.

Picture is a plus. I'll try to take a picture of them as soon as I learn how to show the effect through the camera.

no, Iron Man futureshop is not shiny. his eyes are just white paint...I see no shiny reflection at all.

Bro U totally forgot to add THE holy grail, Iron Man FS, his eye very shiny lol
As a matter of fact IM 2 Asian Steelbooks (Arc chest light) & US Ironpak (Arc & hand) are too

Hi May,yes they did-search 'Twilight' in the Steelbook Forum and choose 'Title Only' from drop down menu. They will all come up up.

You know the shiny effect on LTBF eye, I. It iced the same thing on The Smurfs eyes too lol, seriously though hehe, if you move it around you will get to see that blue-ish effect, I still think T2s eyes (UK) have that bling bling effect too, don't quote me though need others to double check

I believe Indiana Jones FS has the shiney effect around Harrison Ford, I Am Legend German 1st Press one has some nice effect too, you can see Will's shadow & on his right shoulder behind him the biohazard sign... Can anyone double check these two and confirm plz

Here is my attempt to get the shiny bling effect from the Gladiator (Taiwan) edition.

As you can see, the sword, shield and shoulder armor emits a shiny effect when you put it against the light.

I really like this effect when it is used to give a firy look. Examples are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 fye steelbook inside art and Battle: Los Angeles on the back cover.

UK Prince Of Percia is also very shiny basically on every golden element of the coverart (Flames around Jake's arm, Necklace, Armour, girl's Dress, etc)

EVERY steelbook in the play.com Fox Wave will have some effect where metal shows through. However, its not just bland metal ... as incorporated within it will be the 4 colour print etc. where artistically needed.
