We’ve got a heaping helping of AJ Masthay in the form of two art prints and a gig poster! AJ has been busy at work in his studio cooking up a several course meal featuring hand-printed editions of Let it Grow and Lovelight, two circular pieces tied to the music AJ loves, and APs of his recent gig poster for Unbroken Chain, a celebration concert for Phil Lesh and his incredible music. Per AJ, ”I'll be releasing 3 new linoleum block editions in what has turned into a bit of a Spring mini show I've been internally calling "Two Tondos and a Gigposter". Tondo is a renaissance term for a circular composition, something I've been having a lot of fun with lately as you can see in both "LoveLight" and "Let it Grow". For the gig poster, I had the pleasure of continuing a long rooted tradition in celebrating the birthday of Phil Lesh, this time through his son Grahame and his "Unbroken Chain" shows at the Capitol Theatre last month.”
