Absolute disgraceful company.
Towards the end of last year I placed 2 orders for 2 steels.

My first order, I received one, after a few months of "trying to source stock" second steel was cancelled.

My second order, received one steel, damaged, eventually managed to get a refund. The 2nd one, Kick Ass2, after waiting a few weeks, that got cancelled as well.

Will never, ever order from them again

I've bought 3 steelbooks from them and all came in mint condition luckily (jiffy bag from Hong Kong to UK).

Yeah but I have read some people getting charged $100's for customs duties and they have to pay for them. Like some sort of scam

Thanks, unfortunately my orders were cancelled twice with them, so not so keen on wasting time ordering from them anymore, lol.

exactly... ordered THE DESCENT for the same price and after keeping my money for a few weeks they´ve simply cancelled my order....
even had to open a paypal claim to get my money back since it wasn´t refunded automatically...

Well I went ahead and ordered The Descent Steelbook from WOW HD UK and it took just under 2 weeks and turned up in MINT condition!!

Brilliant steelbook at a bargain price and no damage.

I will be purchasing more from WOW HD when another bargain comes up!!

Has anyone bought Blu-rays recently from Wowhd?
I placed my first order on October 20th but haven't received any Blu-ray yet. Thing is, i bought 3 Blu-rays, 3 different orders, at least 1 Blu-ray should have had arrived, no?
Items were shipped separately, 2 Blu-rays on 22nd and 1 on 23rd.

The WowHD UK website still ships to delivery address outside UK just in case anyone was wondering

Vat for UK/EU countries is added at checkout if order total is £135/€150 or less

EU countries the vat rate will be whatever is the local vate rate is for that country

If order total is more than £135/€150 vat is not added at checkout so you may have customs in UK and EU countries look for vat payment

Have ordered a ton from them over the years, but for the last time. Some time back they switched from Royal Mail in UK to Evri as their last mile carrier. In a sea of low expectations, Evri somehow manage to still be the worst. Plus WowHD's flimsy packaging, and after the fourth delivery in as many weeks that looks like the Evri warehouse team backed a truck over it, I've cancelled all my outstanding preorders with them.

Evri are utterly shocking. Go to the Evri Reddit to read a sea of pissed off people.

Their last 10 deliveries to me, 8 out of 10 of them had issues. Some weren't delivered, some just vanished, some left on the main road.
Utter Muppets.
I will never knowingly choose an online order that delivers with Evri. I'll actively avoid.

Watch out for the listed prices on WOWHD, they don't include the 20% sales tax, which gets added in checkout.

By chance I actually had a WOWHD order arrive today. I always temper my expectations because of their packaging, but I was delighted to find that the 2 parcels and everything in them was pristine. It's strange that they do come with Royal Mail tracking numbers, but I'm guessing it was delivered by Evri because it certainly wasn't a postie that brought them. Definitely wish they packaged things more safely though, and then Evri's poor handling wouldn't have such an impact.
