Looks like Best Buy in the U.S. is getting this SteelBook with all 4 discs (4K and Blu-ray)

So it turns out that the mock-up that Best Buy provided for this release is incorrect. The interior contains a flip tray.
It doesn't have the overlapping disc design on each side.

But again, the real stars here are the Back To The Future characters in the background. :D

I really hated the artwork on the front for this one, So i noticed amazon France released the one on the right in April 2024 so i had to grab it.

No idea why the UK only got the Arms artwork.

The Arms artwork is the WWA for 4K steelbook in June (except JB-hifi and a couple of BD steelbook release). The half-body artwork was the second wave in October that year. BestBuy and HMV had to use the first one.

It is annoying the UK got none of the other artwork’s though, Its fine as importing via amazon is easy enough but it would have been nice to get a few variations like most other countries to choose from as the arm artwork is just trash.

I really hated how WB handled the whole ZSJL situation, including the Steelbook releases.

As much as I dislike the lazy WWA hand artwork, sadly, it's the one in my collection, for the sole reason that every single other one (Manta, HDZeta, etc.) all have Superman's "S" crest with the wrong colors. It still irritates me to no end, so I had to pass them up. I love the way those different artwork choices look a million times better, but the wrong crest colors was and remains a dealbreaker for me.

I know during the marketing push for the film, Zack Snyder only shared one poster with the characters on it (the only one with the correct "S" colors), but WB shared another one. That WB poster is the one that unfortunately ended up on the Steelbooks (and on other stuff). I wish that whoever was in charge of making that call at WB, realized that Zack did more than just take Superman's blue/red/yellow suit and gave it the black and white treatment, because sadly that's all they did. The correct crest is a silver "S" with black as the background, which isn't going to happen if someone takes the normal suited superman and just black and white the image.

With 4 hours of footage and the potential for epic artwork, it's a shame it ended up the way it is, but the fact that we have the film at all still makes me happy.

Warner Bros are the worst - treating ZS like s!@# after he lost his daughter and then effed it up and lost Nolan
