I found Man of Steel a completely mess, so wasn't exactly excited about this. After seeing the reviews I'm obviously even less interested, I couldn't even watch the end fight in Man of Steel because I was already tired of all the mindless action (my eyes were literally tired because of 3D). Maybe I'll go to the cinema with my brother after all as he is definitely wanting to watch this.

I say to heck with the reviews. If you have a chance to see it between now and this weekend, take it.

Seems the fans love it but the critics are divided on it.

you know, critics are fans also. one could say ultimate film fans, they have made their love for films their job. would love to watch films as a job, getting paid for it.

Maybe, but in my experience most critics are just snooty and like artsy fartsy films and hate superhero movies.

Its why Superhero movies never get a mention or win at the oscars, they are not considered Proper movies by holyweird.

We fail to remember that there will be a extended R Rated cut which could Answer alot of questions the critics say are unanswered.

It will feature more fighting and extra footage that couldnt make the theatrical cut, not more blood or gore.

here

I was thinking more along the lines of Best Movie as apposed to Best lighting, or sound etc....

then you should have mentioned it, not posting "Its why Superhero movies never get a mention or win at the oscars"

plus : Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role: Heath Ledger, is pretty impressive, isn't it ?!

He only won that because he died and people protested that he should win, i guarentee if he didnt die he wouldnt have won that award or even got a mention at the oscars.

If your looking to have a keyboard warrior fight you wont find it with me.

I look forward to the day when the general public actually go see a film to judge it for themselves, rather than taking review/rating sites as fact. It gives me serious facepalm syndrome seeing people on social media saying how they're no longer interested in a movie because it has a low score on RottenTomatoes or IMDB or some other BS rating site. Firstly, BvS has only been out a day or so in certain countries, so of course the ratings are going to start low. Secondly, I don't like sea food, but that doesn't mean no one else doesn't... we all have different taste. Go and experience things for yourselves, God damn it! :p
