I've been so lucky with those mailers.... Until my last order arrived, crushed like a poppadom.got my copy from amazon and it's totally damaged. they shipped it in this super thin mailer

..but mine came in a purpose made WB white box within another box, and arrived in ultra, hyper, mega, OCD sealed condition

Man, very tempting. Got one with a slightly marked back of steel and small bit of slip cover torn from the jcard glue for £20.
Wanted a mint steel obviously and did tell myself I’d grab it if it came back but I dunno now as might be able to live with what I have at £20.

You could always sell your current copy as minor marks and pick up a new one.
To be fair, I tend not to do that if I can live with the issues; yet with the films I adore, I'll look to replace.
I did that recently with an old blu ray steel of The Hustler - Paul Newman. Mine was ever so slightly dented. It grew to frustrate me. Weirdly.
Then again, I've got a copy of Saving Private Ryan that's scratched quite badly and I barely care. I love that movie probably more then The Hustler.
