For this BR 2049 Release, HDzeta cancelled copies for those who went for Both Slips.
It was limited 1 per person, so you had to chose which one of the 2 Slips you wanted.

Those who pre-ordered Both Slips got one of them being cancelled by HDzeta.

They Are The Exact same Items, just no Steel !
I don't know where you get this being Different o_O

While all that may be true, it is not the standard set for many groupbuys here or elsewhere. Different editions get their own listing. When FAC has 4 editions, there are no limitations as to how many editions you can get. You can buy whichever edition you want but are limited to one copy. Why treat this different from any other GB? Everyone should have the same opportunity.

Being Different is calling for the same standards that have applied to the numerous GBs I have participated in and see everyday? Other than Doctor Strange blufans, when has such a limitation been applied? Members have always had the opportunity to get the editions they desire with reasonable limitation of 1 of each edition. I dont get it. These are slips alone and not the full package. Why block some from participating? We all know these restrictions by zeta are not real anyway. Just wait until alex781125 unleashes all the copies he has on the bay.

Just cancel it altogether and watch the apocalypse.

Over the years I've been a fan/collector of vinyl LP's, Laserdiscs, CD's, Hot Toys Action Figures, Guitars, Cars, Motorcycles, etc. The last two were very expensive hobbies which finances compelled me to retire from. Now it's pretty much just electric guitars and limited edition movies like this. All my "hobbies" at times have crossed over into addictions. For me that's anything that consumes my time, energy, and money, in place of something more important or relevant in my life. I've learned to balance things better. I still get pleasure from collecting but avoid crossing over into despair, anger, and being overly consumed by it. These collectible movies are cool and enjoyable but not worth undue stress and stewing over.

Also not worth spending more $ than one is comfortable with. Nobody should be maxing credit cards etc. to buy these. These will never, ever "pay off in the end" like other collectibles.

Agreed. But sometimes it's too easy to buy now and pay later. Easy to get into trouble, usually much harder to get out. Been there, done that. And buying these, or any "collectibles" as investments is a crapshoot. I've been wrong as often as right as to what would hold or increase in value. I just buy what I like now.

yeah balance is everything with hobbies. once it becomes an obsession it can go south fast. my best ever hobby was bmx as i rarely needed to spend any money. it was fun as hell and although an obsession, definitely a healthier one

collecting is all about $$$ and that’s fine when you have more than enough money, but when you sacrifice real life for a silly limited edition this and that, it’s time to get things back in order

that said... nothing beats opening your favourite movie and seeing some crazy cool artwork. just gotta make sure it’s not destroying your livelihood

I have just over 100 titles from Zeta, Nova, Manta, Blufans, Kimchi. All still sealed.
One of these days I may just lose my mind and open them all! :woot:

That is what I was doing ! ...and one day I started opening them slowly and more frequently and now I really enjoy this hobby.
Keeping everything sealed up is not as fun as enjoying what we collect !

that’s amazing. i keep premiums sealed and buy amaray also to watch. sometimes however the stickers suck on the foil so i open it. however the main reason to keep it sealed for me are the awesome stickers on the foil! john wick nova for example or hd zeta gold label. i think of them as ‘prestige and display copies’ :)

@Danny not sure if you collect lentis or full slips or both but in my opinion once you unwrap a lenti you can truly see some of the amazing depth that the factory seal hides.

The 4k edition is going to look amazing close up and unwrapped, judging from that pic :D
