Oh, right, like one Amazon selling through another country's Amazon.
I wonder where they got 13+ copies suddenly, it's not a couple of returns, or something. Probably found it in one of the darker corners of one of the warehouses, where one of those yellow loading robots knocked over a palette onto one of the workers - they pried the last box of BR Titans from his partially decomposed, rotting hands...
Yeah, pretty much. The seller comes up as amazon eu rather than just amazon. Same happens with amazon us, the uk gets imports via that arm too. This random seller (only shipped via amazon, not actually amazon selling) had over 20 for sale earlier. God knows where they found them, but reasonable price all things considered.
Oh, so it was a private seller after all, just shipped from Amazon. Still has to have them at their warehouse ready - not entirely sure how it all works with such sellers. Sometimes Amazon puts their version on main page of an item, if even if it's in stock from Amazon itself, just because it's cheaper.
Either way, I wonder where they came from. I was spectacularly lucky. I am doing an action month thing and Blade Runner was today and because of that I happened to just have a search for one.
Same. If it is actually polish, possible they were only recently released (as i wasn't aware of a release) and this is all new stock.. who knows. I saw it pop up on fb and decided to grab one as it was on the verge of selling out.
I really hope mine arrives undamaged. I have had it with Amazons steelbook "packaging" lately. Putting a steelbook in an A1 sleeve is not adequate and this is a £54 out of stock steelbook. I had a Mondo Thor last week come dented, got a no retuen refund, ordered a new one which was practically folded in half. And then my Zavvi Eternals arrived dented too.
yeah amazon is really the worse… zavvi steelbooks usually arrive fine tho unless they include some slipcover
Yeah, theh will just use an A2 or A3. Which is what my Matrix and casino royale arrived it. Lucky they were fine. But this seems to be coming from italy based on the tracking updates. Mine is coming Friday. But if this arrives damaged I'm gonna be demanding enough compensation to get a copy from ebay. Maybe if we all keep complaining enough it will tip the formula.
That's what I'm thinking. Odd to have a Resurgence of stock now, with two shops in Italy, for it to have come from nowhere. I think Italy did get one originally though, I've seen an unboxing.
They really went downhill after their first release. Just an occasional more or less successful release, but mostly nothing really special. They were never able to even match their first release imo

Why would Amazon compensate you with a higher amount than you paid for the item?
They aren't responsible for you deciding to pick up a copy from ebay should that be your next option.
Buying from ebay at inflated prices can be a pain but retailers aren't responsible for us having to go down that route even if we receive faulty or damaged goods from them.....
Because I bought a Thor Mondo last week which arrived dented. So I asked for a replacement and they said they can't replace it due to amazon not selling it, 3rd party. Even though it said fulfilled and sold by amazon eu.
But anyway, I ended up with a no return refund. Ordered a new one which ended up arriving almost folded in half...
So again I complain, via phone this time and said I want a replacement and is there a way it could actually come in a box and not a sleeve. They didn't offer gift wrap on it.
Anyway, they said there was nothing I could do and said I should just order one from elsewhere, and ended up giving me a full no return refund, and £30 on top.
I ended up keeping the first Thor, as it had a tiny dent and I thought **** it, I have second hand steels in worse condition.
But love them or hate them, Titans of Cult Blade runner is long out of print and the 20 copies that showed up on amazon for £54 are nothing short of a miracle, and if I am paying that much for a steelbook I expect reasonable protection and for it to not arrive in a bit of card. If it arrives damaged, it will be amazons fault that it arrived damaged and I have lost out on a very amazing deal, one I am unlikely to ever find again.
I actually ordered to last 2 mondos I need which are arriving today, Germany to UK and I ended up ordering a 3rd item in the vain hope that ordering 2 steelbooks and a media book will actually force them to use a box...
Come on guys =) you SHOULD be experienced enough to know getting steel without any damage from Amazon/Zavvi and similar retailers is literaly playing roulette.
It's either them or postal service (cause of poor packaging) who'll do the "job".
