Pretty good game. It's been awhile since I saw England play good attacking football.
Sturridge and Sterling looks dangerous every time they have the ball.
They need to improve on the midfield and fullback area though but it's a bright future for England football.

Pirlo was on another level today plain and simple. He had so much control of that mid it just seemed impossible for England to make a move in parts of the game. He set the pace of the game and when England tried to move the ball faster, Pirlo slowed the game. Just masterful game...
Sterling and Sturridge were great, they really impressed me. I haven't seen a good tourney from Rooney other than his breakout role in Portugal's Euro cup.

We are simply not good enough mistake to leave Ashley cole at home I would have brought Lambert on in the second half we need some muscle upfront. We stood off the Italians too much.
If he had scored that goal after taking three players it would be the best so far in the wc. The game is good though, lots of back and forth attacking football.
Van Persies diving header against Spain was a fantastic goal best one so far.

I was hoping it was after seeing Colombia and Greece earlier they couldn't afford to lose. I wanted Japan to win, but it was a good match.
I went to a Japanese BBQ at a Japanese part of town at half time, the waiters and cooks kept coming to check the game since I put it on my phone. They were upset japan lost but they hooked me up at the end for intruding, which I didn't mind football is meant to be shared.
England are always the same, nothing ever changes. Our game is based on pace and it will not work in Brazil.
It will be tough to get into the second round now.

Too bad Japan got beaten. They have many great players. I'd love to see a team from Asia win the World Cup.

I dislike France but I dislike Honduras even more so I'm glad Palacios got a red and France is 1-0.

Hope Bosnia do well tonight. Their first ever world cup, be nice to see them get passed the group round
