In other words there were very little interests in the pre-orders so they cancelled instead and took the safer option, right?![]()
The owner is a good friend and he is not happy about how it turned out.I totally agree... that was my first thought when I read the message from SteelArchive.
One would think all required approvals would need to be in place prior to announcing the release and initial pre-order on SA website.

Can't be bothered to dissect and respond to much of the content of the posts on this thread from the usual suspects even though some are a bit close to the bone . . . as a proponent of free speech all I can say is - as long as they are fair and not knee-jerk - "knock yourselves out".
The fact that the same people come into U.K. threads with nary a good word to say about x and y U.K. steelbook is more annoying to me than the few comments I make on non-U.K. steelbook threads should be - comments which by the way are not directed at other members but at the steelbooks themselves and I can't even remember the last negative comment I made to a member or even if I have ever insulted anyone here since I started posting a couple or so years back (vaguely recall maybe the once when I suggested someone was being obtuse about something).
That's in complete contrast to the uncivilised behavior of some on here but that's probably not their fault entirely and more the way they've been brought up . . . good manners is clearly an old fashioned and alien concept to these people.
The "Throwing good money after bad" gif is just my personal take on the 50 quid a pop release and justified considering it's the bits of card that doubles the price of the package so that it becomes less a steelbook release than the bits and bobs that go with it. . . the steelbook itself seeming to be relegated to a secondary position. More chatter about the packaging than about the steelbook itself is a rum business !.
The childish MOANA criticism levelled at me and repeated at every given opportunity has to be addressed though - a criticism levelled at my SPOILER pics prompted by the photo of the Swiss steelbook which clearly makes the scene look stormy . . . even though later pictures taken under different lighting conditions made it look quite different.
Anyway, I suggest that in future personal attacks be directed via the PM service . . . where I can respond in kind . . . instead of polluting these threads with juvenile insults which are as funny as a hole in the head to any reasonable person.

Bit late for that I think lol. Hopefully everyone has got it off their chest now though and are therefore able to move on.It would be better to close this thread before any bad blood arise from these off-topic discussions.![]()

How did you pay for this mate... through PayPal? If so, you can obviously always open a ticket with them to get a refund. Personally I'd give SteelArchive a little more time though, as they're no doubt busy dealing with the repercussions of the sudden cancellation.Still no refund
Considering they knew this was cancelled on Friday I'm a bit annoyed it's taking them this long

Depends how big their chest is...lol

Still no refund for me too...
Still no refund....
Since it was Sold out 1000 Units, I expect for him to have to take some time to get all the refunds done.
Well, also in Germany there's a weekend after a FridayI didn't think it had fully sold out though. Fair enough and I agree with you.
But it's day 4 now (or 3 depending on when they found out on Friday) and loads haven't received refunds

We could simply give Steelarchive a break and wait for a few business days at least for the refunds to arrive, no?
Patiently waiting for mine![]()
