I received mine from Amazon today but it had a spine slash and some scratches on the back.
Sent it back for a replacement, so hopefully the new one is unscathed.

Exact same here. I have a spine slash that's part slash part dent and on the back there's scratches on the left side. I'll be sending mine back too

[Edit] Replacement item sorted. I love Amazon's no-nonsense get-a-replacement-out-to-you-right-away returns system. Why can't others do the same?

[Edit] I can also confirm what paulboland said in post #161. It's obviously a new disc especially for the UK only, as it has only English Audio and Subtitles for the hard of hearing. It also has subs for the commentary, not sure if that was there before. I checked it on my Region A player and it is cut by 20 seconds. The audio does appear to be fixed too. So if you can live with the cuts, then this is indeed the better disc.

I have to agree with this. I can see this one selling out before dropping in price.

It's already well priced, and one of the most iconic movies of arnold's career.

The cuts are for scenes where they used wires to trip the horses, which is an old stunt trick. In the UK it's deemed as animal cruelty so has to be removed by law.
He still punches out the camel though.

This arrive today from the UK. Except it literally had no packaging. It was just the Steelbook with a mailing sticker stuck on the back of the shrinkwrap. I've never seen that before. Not even a Zavvi box. Amazingly, it was in pretty good shape once the plastic was removed. one small dent and some corner paint chipping. But I've never seen any Steelbook shipped this way before.

On zavvis site they are claiming its an exclusive to zavvi. Somone needs to update. Wouldn't want some uninformed buyer to buy it thinking its true.

I think they are repackaged copies sent back by customers who have already opened the original packaging, so technically second hand copies. I had a copy of Serenity arrive like this. Sent it back and told them I want a proper copy with J card which they then sent.
