If you look long enough and very closely you can tell that it doesn't have that mosaic texture that CoTT [DE] does. It's a custom job, that's for sure. Maybe a roller with a clear coating of some kind. Anywho, it does look cool.
Ninjas, let's do the obvious and have a bake sale, pick a steelbook and make a run of steels...
And we crackle effect something, I vote "the last samurai", "Troy", or "300". The theme is something old to give it a parchment effect.

I seen someone post a picture of a Star Trek the other day that was done up the same way. It looks really cool but I think I'll pass. I mean modifying steelbooks with inside art is one thing but doing what he's doing is a little extreme. I sure wouldn't do it on any high dollar steels that's for sure.
It sure does! It would be a great custom edition to a steelbook collection. That IB is the one I want. I already have that steelbook so I think it might be cool to have both side by side
muwhahaha scored me an IB from him on the side. But it wasn't cheap...

It would be cool if they could do that effect on the steelbook except for certain areas (Like the title/main image). That way the background has the effect without distorting everything.
