Sigh... when this was on page 1 I thought there was some news... I really must stop setting myself up for disappointment.

I'm sure some people don't like Dredd, but all the people I know that said 'I don't want to see that' enjoyed it when they did see it. I only ever watch Dredd in 3D. I would imagine most of the people watching this thread already have multiple copies of both 2D and 3D discs in all region versions!

I guess I'll wait to get the FAC edition to have a 2nd different copy of it and try watching it again. Maybe I was not in the right mood that night dunno but maybe a second trial when I am bored and don't know what to watch.

The scene where Dredd and the rookie kick in the door of the slo-mo drug den and then proceed to open fire unmercifully on the dealers and the users inside is pure class! The whole scene unfolds in slow motion to a pumping retro sounding techno track while the bullets slamm into the bad guys left right & centre! The whole thing is a total mind rip,but watching that scene in 3D is as close to movie heaven as you can get!
Roll on the FAC edition! The wait is worth it!
Nuff Sed!

Hate to bring this up, but I would like to know #TheLaws (@Apollon) opinion on this: what's the deal with the similarity in story to "The Raid"? I love both films but both have very similar concepts, who stole who's idea is what I'm trying to get at. They both work perfectly as their own films, but the similarity is undeniable. Maybe @Mickle_89 (#Rockie) knows why :hilarious:

What @cooey said.

IIRC Dredd was made first but The Raid was released first. I think the similarities are just purely coincidental
