Inform us what seat you've booked, I don't want to be the unfortunate one sitting behind you with that size hat - need a periscope I would :offtopic:

Just came back from the cinema after watching this and I loved it.

Wasn’t a fan of previous versions so had low expectations but I really enjoyed it and the cast were great and loved the 50s setting.

Looking forward to the next avengers now after seeing this and thunderbolts

Also loved pedro

I always felt Fantastic Four is one of the harder comic book films to do. Its so easy to get cheesy or look silly if not done right.
So I went into this a little worried... but man. Marvel did it!

First steps isn't just good. Its great. The tone and the futuristic 60s vibe works so well.
Each of the cast absolutely nails it. I'm actually glad my fan casting never worked out because they were all perfect.

Worth seeing in IMAX. (Plus you get to see the new Avatar Trailer beforehand)

This is going to do very very well at the box office.

I thought it was ok

Feels like not a lot actually happens in the film until the final act and because of that I feel like they've done a character like Galactus dirty. He's an Avengers level threat but the FF deal with him with relative ease

I think the cast were great though and feel future FF films will probably be better. Really looking forward to seeing them link up with the others in Doomsday as they'll definitely help fill the void from the OG characters who left in Endgame

7/10 and I think Thunderbolts* remains my favourite comic book film of the year

Yeah just got back and loved it. It’s not perfect but it’s f**king close and f**k ton better than the last 3. Had one or two small issues but it started exactly how I wanted it to and the ending too. Everyone plays their part perfectly and Pedro was my only doubt who I love as an actor but he’s in every f**king thing at the moment and didn’t think he was a right fit for Reed but just seeing him in action he nailed it. They got the stretching perfect too especially when he moves up things like Spiderman crawling and leaping.

Would’ve liked to of heard Galactus talk a little more but that’s probably my only gripe. Oh and where was Malkovich?

They are great as a family and their chemistry is pretty electric. Ben and Johnny really stood out for me. I think they did Ben better than I was ever expecting.

Strong 9 for me. Happy with the 4 and Thuderbolts this year

Just got out of seeing this and thought it was fun. Probably the best Marvel has put out in a while but that’s not a high bar. I’m a sucker for the retro futuristic 60’s esthetic. The narrative has some gaps that it requires you to fill in with your own head canon to make a complete story. Some setup story lines end abruptly and others were absent. The score and visuals were great. The villains, while imposing had little development and were dispatched far too quickly to how menacing he was portrayed. Good performances from all the actors. The pacing for some could come off as slow but wasn’t as big of an issue for me. Nevertheless, I recommend checking out if you want to turn your mind off and enjoy a visual spectacle for a couple of hours.
